ABOUT LYNNE PEDERSEN

Lynne Pedersen is known for her unbridled passion and fierce commitment to anyone in need of care. She has over 30 years of experience in the adolescent mental health field. Lynne has laid the foundation of some of the finest programs in the nation.

She possesses an innate ability to create spaces where healing and integrity are paramount. Her expertise in program development has her sought after by new and emerging programs, but Lynne has chosen to focus on ONE.

Background.

Lynne developed the first campus-based support group in Pasadena schools in 1985. This is where she constructed The Exchange program, offering the first restorative justice model of its’ kind. She went on to launch a statewide network of free community support meetings. When the Texas-based Palmer Drug Abuse Program (PDAP) was acquired in California Lynne was asked to lead them as well.

Lynne went on to direct an adult program in Hollywood and found that her passion did not lie there. She stepped out of the field to raise her sons and develop an arts-based business. Her clients included The Walt Disney Company, Warner Brothers, Royal Caribbean, Ralph Lauren and the retail giants Home Depot and Starbucks. It was upon the return from a 9-month commission in Dubai that Lynne received a request to come back to the field of adolescent mental health for a program that was struggling to get their admissions department off the ground.

Lynne accepted the directorship at the nationwide adolescent program with the caveat that part of her contract allowed her to establish free support meetings. The founder was intrigued by Lynne’s commitment. He attempted to push back but soon came to realize that it is easier to say yes and step aside; say yes he did.

The Center had their department not only developed but admissions were raised 73% in the first 6 months. In a critical expansion meeting with investors, the question was raised as to what caused such a dramatic increase…an officer looked down the table at Lynne and said, “she happened…”

Lynne left that program in the fifth year to lend her skills to the founder of a small boutique adolescent program on the west coast who needed her level of expertise to take his program to the next level. These two centers are now the largest adolescent programs in the nation.

Lynne’s gift in building programs of quality is undeniable. It is clear from the success of the programs and those she has mentored.

ABOUT ROBIN BERGERON

Robin is committed to the families of Houston.  She strives to inspire others by living with purpose, authenticity, and compassion; values she believes align with the mission of ONE.

Robin is a Nationally Certified Family Recovery Coach and has been trained as a Peer Recovery Coach. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Service Leadership from the University of Houston Clear Lake. She has spent the past 4 years supporting families as a parent coordinator for a peer recovery program and most recently as the administrator of a recovery high school.

Robin enjoys visiting local coffee shops while exploring the neighborhoods in Houston and Galveston, but she most loves spending time with her family. Robin and her husband reside in League City, Texas where her youngest of four children is a senior in high school.

Robin relocated to Houston, Texas in 2013 from the Pacific Northwest after having navigated her own path of recovery both. She is able to transmit her passion and purpose to teens and parents offering hope, solution and support.
